But my second one generated Tuvalu, which doesn't sound big enough to be the big thing?

Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 2:12pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Cranberry juice is good for infections - but not sure it's the thing for stones... Lemon juice, yes. Coke is actually good - dissolves anything !! I was lucky & my stone was small enuff to pass eventually. They can be any size or shape, tho. Some need them broken up with ultrasound - or surgery. Usually not I'm hoping. Hydration is the prime thing.

RR sugar is not good for the urinary tract, so

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm
StringOFperils:

If the stones are small enough, ultra-sound pulses can be used to shatter them so they can be passed through the ureter. In my case it involved that, and a surgically implanted stent, a big curlicue thing up inside my left kidney with a long exit tube out the end of my little man for a while...urology's removal procedure while I was awake was the worst, even if it only took a second
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 2:15pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Stones are most often calcium binding to something else, tho' there are a few kinds. More calcium gives me pause, therefore. Many 'healthy' things like spinach have Oxalic Acid, usually a contributor. So it's counterintuitive.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 2:16pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

StringOp - that I was spared !

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm

RR the point is to give the oxalic acid free calcium to bind to in the intestines, so it never enters the urine as crystals.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 2:22pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

coela - Interesting !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm
