I was lucky & my stone was small enuff to pass eventually. They can be any size or shape, tho. Some need them broken up with ultrasound - or surgery. Usually not I'm hoping. Hydration is the prime thing.

In my case it involved that, and a surgically implanted stent, a big curlicue thing up inside my left kidney with a long exit tube out the end of my little man for a while...urology's removal procedure while I was awake was the worst, even if it only took a second

I was lucky & my stone was small enuff to pass eventually. They can be any size or shape, tho. Some need them broken up with ultrasound - or surgery. Usually not I'm hoping. Hydration is the prime thing.
