I'd think the problem is not with "outdoor" fests and all that -- I'm sure for those most it's the logistical risks. Who really wants to go to an airport and get on a plane right now if ya don't have to? If Gonerfest was happening Jersey, I'd probably go. It's the travel to anything right now, that keeps me bagging out of a lot.

But, as someone who formerly spent so many miles per year on airplanes for work, the biggest a-holes I've encountered in my life have been at airports. Considering how much of my life I've spent in bars with maniacal drunks and bands, you'd think that would take it... but, no airports and planes bring out the absolute in people.

I flew about a month ago. Short flight, but it was pretty ok. N95’d it both ways; tight enough to give myself a slight bloody nose on the trip home. I don’t know that I’m looking to do it again anytime soon, but that’s just me. Just get fucking vaxxed and mask the fuck up and maybe we can finally get out of this hell.
