karlward, it was great! Four bands, great energy the whole night. It was a *tad* late for a school night for the ancient Sack here, but a ton of fun. Gold Sounds is a quality venue -- excellent vegan bar food, a sound guy who really cares, owners who are interested in how it sounds, a couple of $4 beers. Solid. And C&K were in excellent form. And K8 puts together some seriously excellent line-ups of bands led by female-presenting musicians. Really good night! Hope you can make a show sometime soon! Beer and violet crémes still on me.
