Just tuning in after listening to our beloved Station Manager as I always do every Wednesday. Loving the LSP tribute so far. Waiting until you get to some of his later material and collaborations with other more prominent artists. I'll be paying my own tribute tonight listening to the on-u sound releases of his work with Dub Syndicate. Thanks for all the cool vibes throughout this 10-year train ride. And if I may make a suggestion, you might want to end next week's show with an appropriate track: Chic's "At Last I Am Free".

I believe the old USA network series Night Flight had a feature documentary focusing on his production work with other prominent artists, with interviews from some of those artists and others who were influenced by him.

quote - not me ..
"...Duane's musical journey began at the age two: his father says he was immediately attracted to the sound of Bob Marley coming from the family’s stereo – and it’s been all downhill since. At age 14, Duane moved with his family from Brooklyn to the Midwest and he soon became the youngest radio DJ in Nebraska. He returned to New York in 1996 and became a manager at Other Music, New York’s best known independent record store...."
