Got hassled by Admin for Pairing THE HARDER THEY COME with MacBeth (TRAGEDY Sequence/Lessons) .. I fought and won and did it for over 25 years !!! Poor Orange Street, Kingston is in deep disrepair but still worth a walk ... local people are ever so easy and kind - school girl in school uniform said to me while buying a can of beer from a Chinese shop (long history) " He Chinese, you white , I Black - BUT WE ALL JAMAICIAN" The Nat'l motto of Jamaica : "Out of Many One People..."

	1:10pm Mark Williams: I liked Steve Albini's twitter post on Perry, that Scratch effectively showed what you can do just with what you're hearing in your head, pure musician or not. But nobody's ever quite done it as well as Perry.

If anything he seems to err on the side of giving people chances (over keeping things permanently locked up and entrenched).

Random examples: I generally discounted most 1980s electric pop R&B (sort of like, BT Express = Awesome; Kashif = Blah). But Duane's Kashif tribute four or so years ago was so excellent and considerate of the artist, that I reevaluated and have revisited the genre to my delight. Duane's post-election, 11/9/2016 show was a balm to the beleaguered. Once there was a David Axelrod examination and comment-board reaction that blew me away. So many moments of discovery, always offered with warmth and generosity by Our Dear Conductor.

Poor Orange Street, Kingston is in deep disrepair but still worth a walk ... local people are ever so easy and kind - school girl in school uniform said to me while buying a can of beer from a Chinese shop (long history) " He Chinese, you white , I Black - BUT WE ALL JAMAICIAN" The Nat'l motto of Jamaica : "Out of Many One People..."

	1:10pm Mark Williams: I liked Steve Albini's twitter post on Perry, that Scratch effectively showed what you can do just with what you're hearing in your head, pure musician or not. But nobody's ever quite done it as well as Perry.

	1:49pm Mark Williams: it's this late 60's period that Perry really begins to make his name in. All the Jamaican producers were sending over their songs to the UK and having them released there and it really hit a nerve for a while. "Return of Django" famously got to #5 in the pop charts.

Random examples: I generally discounted most 1980s electric pop R&B (sort of like, BT Express = Awesome; Kashif = Blah). But Duane's Kashif tribute four or so years ago was so excellent and considerate of the artist, that I reevaluated and have revisited the genre to my delight. Duane's post-election, 11/9/2016 show was a balm to the beleaguered. Once there was a David Axelrod examination and comment-board reaction that blew me away. So many moments of discovery, always offered with warmth and generosity by Our Dear Conductor.
