Prince Bernhard jr is a stupendously wealthy royal who has a lot of property in the capital and he bought the racing circuit of Zandvoort. The choosing beggar he is, he asked a couple of rock bands to perform for free in exchange for VIP tickets to the event. As if they can pay the rent with that. In these times. Incredible arse.

boter = butter, which was the only thing we put on bread in the early days, and 'ham' is our word for 'ham' too, but in medieval Dutch it could have meant 'chunk' as well and is probably the case here.
