I was told you should stand in a door way in the event of a quake. Not sure if that is still a good rule of thumb.
Avatar 5:09pm

@ John, I read this morning that it's a bad idea. The door could hit you! Supposed to stay under a desk or table!

regarding the hindenburg broadcast i've always assumed that newscasters would've been more likely to be human -show feeling - back then anyway, as males were a lot more manly then, and not as afraid to show weakness or feelings, in contrast to the insecure babies that are the standard american male now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm
coelacanth∅:

...in fact i think as recent as the early 1970s a male being man enough to display such emotion wasn't that uncommon.

chillroom:

Some really good digging here, Spacebrother. I know little of this music and I'm captivated.

@ John - Hope it goes well and please stay safe. What is "AOI?" Is that AQI?

Nice to hear a different track by Rabbit Brown than James Alley. A fitting place here. Still, any Rabbit Brown makes me want to hear the James Alley Blues.

I know it's off disaster topic, but Rabbit Brown only put out 4 records from 1927 to 1929. And the James Alley Blues may be the greatest record ever made. Great show.
