Aloha, DJ S-L! The first one to go on at Sheena's night last Thu at the Tiki Oasis festival, down in beautiful San-Diego-by-the-sea. As soon as the doors opened, a bevy of fully-outfitted burlesque babes rushed the dance floor to shimmy-shake to the sounds of Shangri-La. i knew it was gonna be a good night.

It was my first ever tornado warning living in Jersey for 35+ years. They do happen and there were four tornadoes last week in other towns. The rotation near me dissipated about 6 miles west from me after 25 minutes. My kitties, Harvey and Pooka were peeved about dinner being delayed and the indignity of being brought to the basement in their carriers.

I'm not in a mobile home. I live on the top floor of a 100+ year old wood frame house.

George Flores was on in the late 70s to early 80s. He did a Xtian music show called, David & Goliath. Upsala College was a Lutheran school and a former seminary. I was a student there and got paid for working in WFMU's office as record librarian.
