It breaks the week up and I can catch up on all the work that's left for me on Thursday and Friday before the weekends. My last true vacation was in 2002. I'm holding out for the 20th anniversary of that.

As someone with spinal arthritis and autoimmune disease, I can help myself by walking, doing yoga and strength training. My mom was physically active and is rather fit at 95 despite her cognitive issues.

I used to write a health column, interviewed Oleda Baker (Google her), she's in her 80s, looks 50s. Ageism sucks, so many inspiring people over 80. I helped a couple in their 80s write their first book. So much good to say on this topic. I don't mind getting old. Life gets better in my opinion.

I live a marginalized life (approaching senior years, never married, no kids, working poor, etc.). I have to show courage in the face of that and also remember that there are folks who have even less privilege than I do.

As someone with spinal arthritis and autoimmune disease, I can help myself by walking, doing yoga and strength training. My mom was physically active and is rather fit at 95 despite her cognitive issues.

I used to write a health column, interviewed Oleda Baker (Google her), she's in her 80s, looks 50s. Ageism sucks, so many inspiring people over 80. I helped a couple in their 80s write their first book. So much good to say on this topic. I don't mind getting old. Life gets better in my opinion.
