Handy Haversack:

I spent the day off reading about the history of apple in the U.S.A. and how capital and policies of colonization affected what was grown and where. And I guess am just feeling very receptive to all the rethinking.

Enjoying this.

WR:

Sounds like an interesting read Handy. I was surprised when I learned that apples were brought to North America by the Europeans.

I have a radio tuned to WFMU out in my chicken coop. This music is driving them wild.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm
Handy Haversack:

WR, me too! I never thought it through, I guess. Though, really interesting, Indigenous people adopted the apple quickly and planted orchards that westward-moving settler-colonists "found."

What the heck to do with the mushrooms
