Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

The more common equivalent of "dear" is "querido" which means "beloved" but literally means "desired" which always made me wonder. "My desired friend."
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
Yerknow there's always a danger if you notably incorporate Humor - your actual Abilities may not be judged evenhandedly... & I'd probly done that with Sparks or something... &/or they didn't quite seem a 'Rawk band'. Or something.
Handy Haversack:
slugluv1313:
still have my Kimono My House LP! i was practically totally isolated as a kid -- did not have cool friends who introduced me to SPARKS -- think i first heard them on Scott Muni's "Things from England" segment on Friday afternoons, WNEW-FM -- and i was hooked 💜💜💜
they were on In Concert? or Don Kirchner's (sp.?) Rock Concert?
-- i remember my Mom being confused! but liking them anyway
