	9:46pm mariano: Handy: Caro literally means "dear" though it's almost always used to mean "expensive." It's used poetically in the other sense though (sounds old-school, like using "dear" for "expensive" in English), unless you meant to call me your expensive friend. I mean, I do charge top dollar and I've always been up-front about it. The more common equivalent of "dear" is "querido" which means "beloved" but literally means "desired" which always made me wonder. "My desired friend."

Yerknow there's always a danger if you notably incorporate Humor - your actual Abilities may not be judged evenhandedly... & I'd probly done that with Sparks or something... &/or they didn't quite seem a 'Rawk band'. Or something.

Rock Concert? -- i remember my Mom being confused! but liking them anyway

	11:25pm Mr. Pumpy: Over time, many of their songs have given me, or rather scratched the same itch, which quality doom metal does. Is it simply the willingness to lean into deliberate stretches of repetition? Maybe. I think it goes deeper.
	11:26pm Stevel: I mean, the chimp as Ron Mael. I knew who Sparks were before I heard them, so I get that joke. The visual sense, from only album covers, is indelible. (That's not a word I get to use a lot.)

It's used poetically in the other sense though (sounds old-school, like using "dear" for "expensive" in English), unless you meant to call me your expensive friend. I mean, I do charge top dollar and I've always been up-front about it. The more common equivalent of "dear" is "querido" which means "beloved" but literally means "desired" which always made me wonder. "My desired friend."
