Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

However, at the weekend I had a DIPA from Other Half Brewing and it was incredible. 10 out of 10. (You can tell Rob, if he's got twelve quid to spare!). Alsio a can of from Equilibrium form Middletown NY. Also very good and only nine quid!

Stanley, I think Rob is still trying to make himself stop coveting and then buying SMWS bottles! It's been a long year for us all!
We just put together the summer travel ... wish Scotland were possible. Maybe in the fall? Or winter? Looks like it's the U.S. Northeast still for the summer, with one excursion to Michigan added in so I can finally see my aunt.

Michael, we've never been. A friend of mine (Rob in Edinburgh) was so entranced his first time there that he proposed to his (now) wife! And he's got family in NE Spain and had been there a thousand times. "Less fascist than Spain but similar" seems like a powerful place to start.
