I keep vacillating between euphoria at the idea of being free from my past and able to completely start over.... and filled with anxiety of letting go. Thank you for reading that, Sheila. It was needed. It's been an emotional rollercoaster.

Well, that night at dinner my dear spouse was excited to tell me that one of her preschool parents showed up at pick-up time WEARING A BLOCKHEAD shirt. I was already 94% sure that was the guy. But then THE NEXT DAY we ran into the family at open streets and confirmed everything. We didn't hug, but only probably because of Covid, I'm sure :) Small world.

This pandemic has cost me what little I had left of friends and family. WFMU has been my touchstone. go figure.

Well, that night at dinner my dear spouse was excited to tell me that one of her preschool parents showed up at pick-up time WEARING A BLOCKHEAD shirt. I was already 94% sure that was the guy. But then THE NEXT DAY we ran into the family at open streets and confirmed everything. We didn't hug, but only probably because of Covid, I'm sure :) Small world.

There are dozens and dozens of people affected in any given schedule change, and there's still finalization taking place.
