They also had regular concerts, I don't remember how the sub-venues (panoramabar, kantine) really differ. I remember seeing Caribou -- sound was exceptional, show meh.
I think I got in to a "regular club night" once, thanks to my now ex-gf. IIRC they do a good job keeping out the "tourists", fwiw, which is where the notoriety comes from. Oh and of course the general gay/bdsmness, which you don't notice as much, unless you go to a specific event.
The exclusiveness always struck me as idk, undemocratic?

Summing up my ramblings: it's worth going once if you can risk standing in line for 6h and then not get in. In the end, it's a... club.
