Also, it's healing quite literally in my case, since my apartment has mold in the walls and flooring. It's not growing on any of my stuff, it stays in the walls and floor, but I'm hyper sensitive to the spores now.

I was flashing back to my first little free sample fm-scanners, first time seeing a ham radio, first time encountering an illegal police scanner, and, of course, my discovery of WFMU, driving cargo vans filled with props and scenery to/from the theaters, rental places, scenic goods purveyors and storage facilities of NYC and Jersey

On 9-11, Howard Stern was the prime means that most of NYC had any idea what was going on. He utterly rose to the occasion, and did and AMAZING job, and shortly after that the FCC drove him off radio.
