The worms are currently eating and disgorging soil in local compost piles.
A few outliers have chased, metaphorically speaking, moisture on the sidewalks and have met a cruel fate.
The rest are a wriggling, jiggling, gorging, and disgorging mass of soil purification.
It’s a dirty job…
