	♥ 4:58pm StringOFperils: The trick is to keep the pickle intact. You have to roll it in semi-frozen squid paste immediately before immersing said gherkin into deep-fryer, and then only briefly, followed by quickly coating in room temperature caramel by dip technique

	♥ 5:05pm David (in London): When Caetano and Gilberto were in exile in London in the early 70s, Caetano apparently really struggled, feeling like a fish out of water. Gilberto, on the other hand, could apparently just walk into a pub, and within half an hour everyone was speaking rudimentary Portuguese words, singing and contemplating a kick-around in the nearest piece of green space.
