Then you are gonna be ok. Your gonna be ok.

	6:38am Daybreak & The allergy defensive shield!: Given that it’s Arbor Day, my Shane like physical war against that stump and against that rock taught me something else: Even though 12 years ago that stump was huge and present, that amount of time and some insects brought it even lower. However, low is not out. Whatever tree was once there was enormous and its roots still go deep. Those roots are still in the ground and are still sucking up nutrients. They were quite strong even though as far as I can tell they seemed not just dead but probably disintegrating. Trees: they don’t mess around!

	6:41am jeanjae: Celebrating one of my favorite trees on Arbor Day - a hackberry near my bus stop. Shortly after it was planted, vandals broke it, leaving only a stump. It grew back with two trunks.

If I’m not awake early enough for Her Majesty, Sunshine, she starts taking a walk on top of me including around my head. Purrs loudly. She has fun doing it. Bittersweet, this last show from home. Maybe your friend listens to Wake as well, if not they probably should. Wake was the friend that told me about Mattiel, but... It took me a long time to realize that “follow my name” and “guns of Brixton” were from the same singer. Granted, it is early, and this is where I do almost all of my new music listening, but still. The 41 year old body and mind are still in their prime and still just as shaky as they always have been!

I describe it as an extremely appealing type of folk/jazz. Very inviting feel and a natural sound. Best to listen all the way though, it's a song cycle.

	8:25am dk50b: The ABC special, "Sesame Street: 50 Years of Sunny Days", had me confused, as I'm fond of pointing out I'm so old the only PBS show I deeply cared about was Misterogers' Neighborhood. Being 6 when Sesame Street premiered, recall my younger siblings watching with much more interest. Captain Kangaroo and Wonderama were other faves. Watched Adam 12 and Emergency! with my parents. Aside from Batman we were very cartoon centric, including Corageous Cat and Minute Mouse, Gigantor, Underdog, the awful Marvel Super Heroes (each with theme song), along with the pervasive Hannah Barbara fare.

	6:38am Daybreak & The allergy defensive shield!: Given that it’s Arbor Day, my Shane like physical war against that stump and against that rock taught me something else: Even though 12 years ago that stump was huge and present, that amount of time and some insects brought it even lower. However, low is not out. Whatever tree was once there was enormous and its roots still go deep. Those roots are still in the ground and are still sucking up nutrients. They were quite strong even though as far as I can tell they seemed not just dead but probably disintegrating. Trees: they don’t mess around!

	8:17am Fredericks: Clay, Astral Weeks is a transcendent album. Richard Davis is the band leader. He chose all the players. The music is loose and exquisitely improvised. I describe it as an extremely appealing type of folk/jazz. Very inviting feel and a natural sound. Best to listen all the way though, it's a song cycle.

Being 6 when Sesame Street premiered, recall my younger siblings watching with much more interest. Captain Kangaroo and Wonderama were other faves. Watched Adam 12 and Emergency! with my parents. Aside from Batman we were very cartoon centric, including Corageous Cat and Minute Mouse, Gigantor, Underdog, the awful Marvel Super Heroes (each with theme song), along with the pervasive Hannah Barbara fare.
