	1:12pm Domenica: I have been having this thing going on for months where I have been trying to understand the appeal of Steely Dan and I still do not get it. I have been trying with an open heart but I still don't get it. The DAN is not for me it seems

	1:14pm Duane: It's so funny, because amongst African-Americans Steely Dan is one of those no-brainer "Good White Bands". LOL! EVERY black household i've been in has a Dan album there

	1:17pm Domenica: They definitely have some good songs I actually like, but in general I find it repellant. Which is weird because I like "yacht rock" and "smoothness" in general. Maybe one day it will grow on me.
	1:18pm coolioiglesias: "peg" is undeniable, i just kinda wish a different group of musicians played it, or that it was produced in a less pristine, soul-less way? just my opinion, naturally, and if the dan is your thing, more power to you!
