I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

I've never been too concerned about sitting at outdoor cafes or buying oranges. But riding the subway (and especially waiting in line at the Post Office with people obnoxiously unmasked, and the staff of course not doing anything about, when when you point it out) gives me serious willies

Sad about the passing of DMX and Anne Beatts. The latter was an original writer on SNL and a very funny woman.

And the BEST PART?

When I ran into my landlord in the hallway earlier this week, he called me his nemesis!

Thanks for highlighting the work of JCOA. There is a Leroy Jenkins record I've never heard: For Players Only. Not sure if it was a JCOA project. Would love to hear it if you have a copy.

Michael - Well, I need to find a doctor to diagnose me with mold related illness for a civil suit. And he's filed against me for an eviction, which sucks when trying to figure out where to move.

Last time I heard Grachan Moncur III Echoes of a Prayer was years ago on WKCR. That riff has stuck in my mind all that time. Thanks for the experience of anamnesis.

@diL - hallooooo! ps what's daona?

@WM - i have heard that! very nice! veers from super dense to to super sparse solo improv, with a bit of psychedelic reverbiness thrown in at a couple spots. not sure if i can locate it (digitally) in a pinch, but i'll put it on the docket!

@toutevoix - re vino, if you have a free moment, please send several thousand crates of barolo chinato

Oh, I've been missing so much (as always, I must live for the archives). And two albums in a row that I actually have in the collection for decades! "Gardens Of Harlem" and "Numatik Swing Band" (and it took me decades to realize that 'numatik' was a play on 'pneumatic' -- doy). Thanks Bryce!

@annette - in yesterday's case it was no mask at all and of course blabbing on his phone. But yeah, my solution in those situations is to just GTFO out of there. I'll pick up my package next week, thanks
