I beat ya Paulo, 9pm for me. Not the Marathon catching up with me. But rather a feed of bad Fish & Chips Saturday night. I won't tell you what I was doing at 2am that night, but I was kneeling.
Hey Billy... first of all I would like to apologies for being a nuisance on the message boards. I was real late night over here and I'd been drinking all day. Not a good look, but more than happy to donate
Scoot - Got my double swag for life sorted too. I obviously let them keep that second donation. I just need to be extra special to the wife this week :)
hahah thanks :) Very kind. Though I did sell my old car yesterday...but bought an old xbox 1 so theres ups and downs. I have zero idea what option I picked for my second swag for life...what an adventure
Good Evening/Morning to Kellen303 and fellow listeners, from the South Puget Sound. This may be my first time listening to Spectrum Audio, but am definitely enjoying the vibe so far, much like the rest of the All-Star WFMU multi-stream lineup. It's reminiscent of some late night soundscapes I'd have playing when I was burning the midnight oil as a Design major, back in my old Uni daze. :-)
I'm in FL, and we have fire danger (rare, hasn't happened in 23 years, usually we get drownsed by now). So, the it's been the opposite in the antepodal world, I suppose).
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!
@Aitch: I went into a rabbithole of poetry lately. Alliteration was originally Anglo-Saxon, while rhyming was Norman. By the 14th c, the English incorporated both...(cthulhlu, I'm such a dork)
Not my words, but
"Dorothea MacKellar wrote this poem in 1908 while she was visiting England and missing her home country. The second stanza is possibly one of the most well known and recited pieces of poetry in Australian history"
Think I better head out. Was listening in over my phone whilst doing some late-nite dishwashing, but now I better gets some sleep so I can fake being more productive Monday than I was over the weekend.
Exactly c'est cela même acid flashback et je remonte un petit peu plus le son de la radio LIBRE

Oh tes cris me déchirent !!!
@Billy Jam: you're correct (still aaron). I've had friends ask me to go to the East Bay or NYC, since where I am is just as expensive, and this place is less tolerable.
@Paulo AD - haha - either on or off da sauce U are all good in my books - thank YOU @NGH - yeah U need to get out of where U are and back to your girl and within the FM dial reach of WFMU
@CT bland: Isn't that 95% of the US? I came here for a startup job after my rent went up $2k in 2 years in Brooklyn, w/ no improvements. Then when the current governor decided to reallign funding for out project, and a quarter of us were laid off....
The "first world" is a myth... and yeah, the "third world" has arrived in the United States. LA is quickly becoming tent city. meanwhile, endless overpriced rental vacancies.
CT Bland over there in Westport drinking a rare pinot, thinking "I'm sure glad I didn't pledge to this station even though I can totally afford it. I think I'll also comment on the third world"
The plague rat tourists drive me crazy (why I do late night walks, to avoid them). There's a long story where I came up w/ ngh if you want me to spin a yarn...
JBoogie i think more likely the troll lives in mom's house and doesn't have much money from the supermarket job, and has never donated to wfmu in his life.
