March 12, 2021: Give the Drummer sums!
This radio show denounces explicit and implicit racism. It condemns the culture of White supremacy, which enables the brutalization of Black people and other communities of color. It supports Black Lives Matter and the movement it stands for. |

Decisions, decisions!
I usually like to spread my SFL out to as many shows as possible (one "negative" of all the great new shows is that SFL doesn't go as far as it used to 😄). But the swag today is KILLER!

That would be a fascinating thing to try to figure out. It partly depends on who many are streaming at any given time.

That stuff happens a lot. So sorry! Not sure if WFMU can move those things around. All the $$$ goes into the same steaming cauldron of love! THANKS!

The pre internet WFMU was very very hard to get on the radio: every morning was a "signal hunt" walking around the office with a portable radio. I'm sure there are people who objected to this practice. Eventually we found a WFMU hotspot, stuck a radio there and piped the headphone signal though an idle 10-base-T wall line.

Spinning Giant-it's done with affection, she's pretty open to different sounds (though I took her to see Sex Mob once, they had Nels Cline and John Medeski as guests. They followed Nels, who skronked out a very dissonant course, and she didn't enjoy it. I four a chance to catchy Sec Mob at an outdoor concert this summer, with Medeski, no Nels, and they ROCKED. We all loved it!)
