I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

"Raag Basant Mukhari is a sweet melodious form among morning Raagas. It is however difficult to render smoothly. The combination of Raag Bhairav as (S r G m) in Poorvang and Raag Bhairavi as (P d n S') in Uttarang demands both concentration as well as full preparation through intensive training or Riyaz.... This Raag can be expanded in all the three octaves. [It] creates a soothing atmosphere."

Parakeets are now endemic in London. Weird, but true. For decades they were contained in Richmond in the SW of the city, but now there are colonies in practically every park.

there are stories of new students only being allowed to sing one single note — for like a YEAR — before the teacher is satisfied they're ready to get into the actual music

Sivapriya is not a traditional raga name, but then again Subramaniam is doing Carnatic-type music on the western violin. "Siva/Shiva" (a lead god's name) + "priya" = beloved

but it's one 45-46-minute song. they had to divide it for the record, but instead of putting 22-23 minutes on each side, they put ~15 minutes on one side and ~30 minutes on the other.

Malkauns is a much older Raag -- the legend is that it is a super tranquil raag that the godess Saraswati created to get the Shiva to chill out when he was super angry.

No, Kate found out she'd developed a penicillin allergy after getting penicillin at the dentist along with a screw in her jaw! That was unpleasant indeed, but she's all recovered now. The best upshot of it all was that while laid up she managed to move her vaccine appt. up by a month from April 8 to next week!
