	6:33am Gerry from Miami: Pidge, the only Louise that comes to mind is the veteran actress Louise Fletcher, who was absolutely frightening in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" as Nurse Ratched. I also remember her in an '83 film called "Brainstorm" with Christopher Walken and Natalie Wood. Very disturbing movie that delved into brain experimentation and control of thoughts and experiences. Fletcher is great, as always. Both she and Tina Louise are still hangin' in there in their mid-to-late 80s.

	6:55am Gerry from Miami: @morphe' One of my buddies in Vietnam used to receive a monthly "care package" from home that always contained a selection of LPs, cassettes and, most interestingly and highly anticipated, copies of the latest ZAP comics. R. Crumb and the other artists that produced these comics became our counter-culture heroes. Mr. Natural, Flakey Foont, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, Wonder Warthog and all the rest of their characters kept us GIs sane during an insane war.

At his old store /art gallery in NYC the Psychedelic Solution Crumb would draw on the walls caricatures of people in the store. Morphe... Carlos. cool.

I was mesmerized, continually. The final reading was the reminiscences of two elderly friends, talking mostly to each other, sometimes to the audience. When the reading ended, they made sure each other was okay, and left the stage. Two rebel poets looking and sounding more like the fictional "old friends" of the Paul Simon song, although both men were way past 70.

	6:33am Gerry from Miami: Pidge, the only Louise that comes to mind is the veteran actress Louise Fletcher, who was absolutely frightening in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" as Nurse Ratched. I also remember her in an '83 film called "Brainstorm" with Christopher Walken and Natalie Wood. Very disturbing movie that delved into brain experimentation and control of thoughts and experiences. Fletcher is great, as always. Both she and Tina Louise are still hangin' in there in their mid-to-late 80s.

R. Crumb and the other artists that produced these comics became our counter-culture heroes. Mr. Natural, Flakey Foont, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, Wonder Warthog and all the rest of their characters kept us GIs sane during an insane war.
