I once djed a gallery show for a soccer teammate in dumbo, and he paid me in ganja butter cookies. I ate two. I went to the warehouse party I was supposed to dj. I ran into a classmate of mine, and I realized I wasn't alright, as I couldn't even say any words to her, and she got mad. I had to find to organizer of the party, and ask him to fill in for my dj slot, and, spent the rest of the night on a couch by the dj booth (so embarrassing).

hah! do not know if there was drinking allowed at any of the proms at my high school? drinking age was still 18 here too -- gotta ask my sister, i *think* the proms were held at somewhat "fancy" places and not at the high school (i did not go to any of the proms but my younger sister went to 2, if not 3 -- & i still wonder how she conned my Dad into paying for the dresses, all the other crap -- even back then, that sh*it was EXPENSIVE)
