	7:35am queems: @yeti bob i did! i haven’t gotten out of bed yet but i’m going to see if she has forgotten this morning. my guess is no. the last time i brought her to the vet, she hid under the couch FOR A MONTH and barely ate. don’t pull random feral kittens off the street or this could be you. they grow up into mostly friendly but sometimes impossible feral cats.

	7:37am dale: queems - we had a stray siamese with asthma. vet put her on prednisone but she got really fat. i googled and found a thing called the aerokat that you put an inhaler onto and we had to do that 2 x a day. i got a generic version of the inhalers from england for a lot less than here in the u.s.

In my defense I googled Garageband for Windows, which proved to be a scam. Instead I was treated to a huge virus that took up my computer. It's all fixed now. I might just can the idea of making my Party Girl song, but I do have some ideas. So I'm going to email you.

	7:43am queems: @dale my cat has been on prednilosone for almost 5 years. she has weird steroid bloat, but she’s not actually fat. i’ve heard about aerokat, but due to her temperament, i wouldn’t be able to use it on her. part of why i want to take her to the vet is to get her checked for diabetes, since steroids can cause it and she actually seems a little thinner than usual lately

	7:46am Knormalish: Hey Buddha! @queems - I know your pain. My Bunny is IMPOSSIBLE. Also, she is psychic... (Or her command of English is better than I am aware of? I swear she knows when I call the vet.) She knows to "go to ground" if there is a vet/moving "occasion." She has to be feeling very poorly for me to get her in a carrier. And forget any kind of medicine once she feels better. Sigh. Good luck to you!

	7:47am dale: queems, we had a diabetic cat once too. insulin twice a day but after he got it once he was instantly better. we'd give some soft food on a plate and give him his shot and he was cool with it. was probably 3 years or so until he had another issue. had to take the top off the litter box so we could put a test strip in his tinkle and adjusted how much insulin he got.

	8:56am Deborah: Pale Son History is important. I have studied on post grad level but learned that the didactic should not always accompany the moment of meditation. If I have a three hour college class, I can teach theory, especially in Qigong or Traditional Chinese Medicine, then go to the practice. After practice, we can discuss some more and learn what the meditation meant to all of us. Krishnamurti is good but sometimes too fear based for an undergrad class. Namaste.

	7:47am dale: queems, we had a diabetic cat once too. insulin twice a day but after he got it once he was instantly better. we'd give some soft food on a plate and give him his shot and he was cool with it. was probably 3 years or so until he had another issue. had to take the top off the litter box so we could put a test strip in his tinkle and adjusted how much insulin he got.

	7:51am queems: @knormish i’m so sorry that you know this sneaky cat stress! some cats are just too damn smart. my mom’s cat is my cat’s brother and he is even worse. @dale my mom had a diabetic cat! they had a whole insulin routine that worked out really well. i’ve given my cat sub q injections (mostly antibiotics) but that’s one of the reasons i have to treat her so carefully- if i scare her, i lose access when it comes to medications.

Mindlessness implies empty mind. Mindfulness implies an awareness. While it is the goal of some meditation to empty the mind, that should not be the overall goal of every meditation. Varies.

	8:56am Deborah: Pale Son History is important. I have studied on post grad level but learned that the didactic should not always accompany the moment of meditation. If I have a three hour college class, I can teach theory, especially in Qigong or Traditional Chinese Medicine, then go to the practice. After practice, we can discuss some more and learn what the meditation meant to all of us. Krishnamurti is good but sometimes too fear based for an undergrad class. Namaste.
