Although the water quality has been improving steadily, DeSantis reallocated the budget. to focus on the red tide affecting rich peoples waterfronts/boating/fishing areas, so, it might take take even longer to rehabilitate...(doing GIS for an environmental science firm was my last real job).

tropical milkweed is common in FL. When I first moved here, I had to a reverse picture Google image search, to figure out what it was, as I never saw it before (It was uncommon when I was in college. I just had the normal milkweed at my old garden, but when I moved out, it looked like a tropical milkweed started to bloom (I didn't plant it).
