I need to road trip again soon. You could drive the entire state on a keto diet. sinner: Yeah, it's all a matter of how the peanuts are seasoned. They have to burn.

	8:27pm ledzeppelinsucks: Most peanuts sold retail are roasted. To make BOYLD PNUTS you have to use raw peanuts. Take the raw peanuts and drown them in sulfur tap water and boil in a huge dented soup kettle. When boiling starts dump massive amounts of Piggly Wiggly brand salt in and simmer. Serve in brown lunch sack that will get soggy.

Hank's, down the road from me, has some of the best fried chicken I've ever had, nice and spicy. You might have to dodge a bullet or two, but it's well worth the risk. It's the kind of place that always seems to have a group of really skinny middle-aged dudes with neck tattoos, sideways baseball caps, and long jean shorts hanging out by the door.

	♥ 8:40pm mariano: I don't eat a lot of fried chicken, but after the hurricane in October when there was a five-day blackout in my hood, Hank's was one of the few places to get hot food that wasn't McD's/Burger King, and I devoured some chicken tenders with remoulade sauce, couldn't believe how good it was. Pauly: Yeah, crawfish, another unlikely thing that's widely available and really good at gas stations here. Speaking of which, it's almost the beginning of crawfish season <homer_simpson_gargling.mp3>
	8:43pm ledzeppelinsucks: The condiment and spice aisles at chain grocery stores from East TX to GA have superior sauces and herbs and rubs. They are local brands and are cheap because a lot of the the staples that they flavor are cheap such as low quality meat and greens. When I go to those places for work I load a box and ship it home or to friends. It is not Whole Foods stuff, it is locally packaged.
