	♥ 9:41am Daybreak and the Hybrid Life: No problem @Esther. It is one of those lost Disney movies from the 80s I totally missed too. While so many are ceaseless cheese factories Natty Gann is set during the depression and does a very good job of tell a self-possessed young woman journey to pull together a life that was pulled apart by societal/global currents. It's wild what Disney could put quietly into the world now and then...well mostly then.

They’re so cheesy/dated but that’s part of the reason we’re enjoying them. They’re so bad, they’re good. You have to go into them knowing it’s going to challenge your patience/endurance ha ha. While so many are ceaseless cheese factories Natty Gann is set during the depression and does a very good job of tell a self-possessed young woman journey to pull together a life that was pulled apart by societal/global currents. It's wild what Disney could put quietly into the world now and then...well mostly then.
