R.I.P. Edgar W. Froese, Tangerine Dream mastermind.
I think this little psychedelic gem, the only single by TD-precursor-band The Ones from 1967 fits best (note: Star-Club singles were luxury! STEREO sound as standard!)
Edgar is second from right on the single cover. Note there is talk about tangerine color already (obviously a Beatles' Lucy In The Sky influence).
The Ones were a pretty busy band actually, touring Germany, France and southern Europe. A performance at Salavador Dali's summer residence Port Ligat appeared to become a resurrection experience, that finally led to the change to Tangerine Dream, founded by Froese and singer Charly Prince. The original concept was creating a musical equivalent to Dali's Surrealism.
