the ash song - it's a common known tune, perceived as a Russian folk song by most. He announced it as as Russian folk song. In fact, i just checked it's lyrics by 19th century poet, music unknown. So, yeah, folk. I meant it's not like real Russian village weird
folk stuff, it's more like "pop folk" harmonically.
