Good afternoon Rex and all! Can't seem to be able to locate my brow.
  1:09pm Sylvia's Mother:

Yeah! The black on blue print is impossible to read.
  1:10pm David in London:

Yo Handy. I’ve spent the afternoon writing in the garden, so all very relaxed this end. And the sun is now hovering above the yardarm, so you know what that means... How fare you in the Point of Green?
Avatar 1:10pm Rex:

Andres- All listeners are asked to kindly leave their brow at the door...

I like your Yardarm Mean Time. Setting my clock to match!

We have been outside most of the day -- HOT here now. Yesterday,
we canoed down to a little inlet between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges yesterday and were there when a march that seemed to be at least twice the length of the bridge came over the Brooklyn. Amazing! We were whistling and screaming from the boats, but I don't think anyone could hear us except the cops in their boat out in the river. Heading to Queens in a bit for another protest. But when we return, it's daiquiri time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm common:

Rex, fools!

  1:28pm Papito:

Ray Milland played The Man With The XRay Eyes ! Spoiler Alert... At the end he could see into the Center of the Universe and he saw God! Then he plucked his eyes out of his head and could still see ! Also the great insult comic Don Rickles played Xs manager, a con man using Xs power for money!
Avatar 1:28pm Juke Joint Jonny:

You're in the Williamsburg. I'm just across the crick in Sunnyside.
  1:29pm SactoJennyLee:

That ain't hoodlin! The Lavenders done goofed! Time for my tacos before the next 54 episode!
Avatar 1:30pm zivilars:

@Papito: I love this movie, not sure about the ending anymore, though – was the "I can STILL see!" left in the movie? I believe it was cut, wasn't it?

@JJJ, in northern Greenpoint, us. You're in Sunnyside? One of my favorite neighborhoods. Though I miss Chip's and P. J. Horgan's.
Avatar 1:35pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Yeah, the nabe has taken some hits lately. There's a new wave version of Horgan's now, but it ain't the same.
  1:35pm SactoJennyLee:

ATTENTION! IT'S THE 54 LOW BROW DROP IN EPISODE NOW!
  1:36pm Papito:

I think it was edited out but it would have made a big impact to the story. I'm not sure but I think I heard they didn't want to upset the audience by getting too heavy with the use oh God and all that it implied!

  1:41pm Maurice the Motorcycle Rider:

Does it have to be $64,000?
Avatar 1:41pm zivilars:

considering inflation, the $64.000 question back then probably was what is the $1.000.000 question now
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Handy Haversack:

Thanks for the tip, Sylvia's Mother -- filed away for future use!

OK, Fools! Sad to leave you and enter the world of the browed, but it has to be done. Catch you next time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Bob Slee:

The $64,000 answer: YES!!!
Avatar 1:43pm zivilars:

@johnk77: I had SiriusXM for a while and listened to Bill's show there back then (only subscribed for The Underground Garage) – unfortunately, I don't have it anymore. Too expensive – and too difficult to pay here from Germany, as it is basically illegal to subscribe from here ... (not that they were gladly willing to take my money with a fake NY address, of course, but as a non-native speaker, I hate that cancelling isn't possible without telephoning them ... :)
