Irene Trudel:

Ha, Eugene! And thank you, Mike and Uncle Michael as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Derp...I read that as Fifty Foot Horse. That would be a very big horse. A hundred and fifty hands!
Avatar 9:15pm
Kamp Climax:

oh that was beautiful

Listening Out There:

Feeling hosed just now, for som reason...
Avatar 9:16pm
Kamp Climax:

Hose took the Albini trick, loud/quiet/loud, and took it to another level with that move
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21pm
Irene Trudel:

This Fifty Foot Hose album is not new-- originally released in 1967, reissued in 1994 on CD, then again recently on a new label. Albini might've "borrowed" from them?
Avatar 9:22pm
Kamp Climax:

Three albums purchased because of Irene's show within the last week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25pm
BennettCap:

This Floyd album is a forever favorite of mine. Hi, Irene!

@Ken from Hyde Park - The Uffington White Horse in England (chalk figure on hillside) is 360 feet long.
Avatar 9:27pm
Kamp Climax:

Something about Meddle and Can's Future Days that always seem like twin sisters to me.
Avatar 9:28pm
Perpetually New Listener:

Good evening from Memphis
Avatar 9:29pm
Kamp Climax:

Is Memphis as cool I think it is, or is that just hype?

Avatar 10:49pm
Kamp Climax:

Hello Katharsis. It's a stunning show.
  10:59pm
drunken creep:

sounding real nice, digging this Sally Oldfield
Avatar 11:00pm
Bobby Whirlwind:

Is he singing about an Allen key?
Avatar 11:01pm
Bobby Whirlwind:

Oh. Elven king.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm
Irene Trudel:

Sally Oldfield is the sister of Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells). And, yeah Bobby, it's a tribute to Tolkien.
Avatar 11:03pm
Kamp Climax:

"Allen Key, oh you open every thing" "Three Allen Keys, under the amber sky."
Avatar 11:03pm
Kamp Climax:

Bobby made my night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm
Irene Trudel:

I'd be lost without my Allen Keys. How would I tighten things???
Avatar 11:05pm
Kamp Climax:

Didn't Allen Keys run for President.
Avatar 11:07pm
Kamp Climax:

Bobby Whirlwind is stuck in the 2012 presidential primary.
  11:08pm
drunken creep:

That track was quite moving, and you guys are cracking me up talking about Alicia Keys' distant relation Allen
Avatar 11:10pm
Kamp Climax:

How can Bobby go silent? That comment deserves a premium prize all by itself. He is now one of my all-time favorite commenters.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13pm
Irene Trudel:

Now, be kind. Perhaps I lulled him to sleep with Sally Oldfield's beautiful vocals.
  11:16pm
KP:

How are we this fair night, Irene
Avatar 11:18pm
Bobby Whirlwind:

I was lost in reverie... One Allen key to rule them all
Avatar 11:19pm
Kamp Climax:

Speech! Speech! Speech! Bobby!!!!!!

herb.nyc:

This bed music is perfect for the 1900
drama "hindle wakes" i saw earlier tonight (and NOT perfect for the Islanders hockey I saw last night)
Avatar 11:22pm
Bobby Whirlwind:

Thank you thank you. I'd like to dedicate this to the great Allen Keys and to the very soothing sounds of Irene Trudel
Avatar 11:23pm
Kamp Climax:

Herb, I was practicing my Dungeon and Dragons moves during the last ten minutes of the last set. And dancing around a ten inch stonehenge monument. Tip-toey kinda of dance.
Avatar 11:29pm
Kamp Climax:

that sounded like XTC for a moment there.
Avatar 11:32pm
Kamp Climax:

I know there will be no Perrudin or Becca Stevens tonight, but for the love of God please end with the Avett's song which ends about having no enemies. That was a stunner last week, and I though I hated the Avett's, but after the HBO show and that song last week, well.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:34pm
Irene Trudel:

I'm doing very well, KP. I hear you're leaving us to move down to DC. Makes me sad. Kamp CLimax, you guessed right. Now I have to play that XTC, don't I?
Avatar 11:37pm
Kamp Climax:

You'll do it Irene style, you will play a stunner with a meandering ending, and then there will be 10 seconds of silence, and then that XTC beat will come in. I can see you casting your spells from a mile away.
  11:39pm
herb.nyc:

To bed now, w radio on. I pray I fall asleep BEFORE Prof Dum Dum arrives. And Kamp C, you dance any old way you want. Gnite
Avatar 11:41pm
Kamp Climax:

g nite Herb, your going to miss a story about a man who sailed.
Avatar 11:45pm
Kamp Climax:

Un-Un-Un-Un-believable. Like hearing Mary Margaret O'Hara for the very first time.
Avatar 11:57pm
Kamp Climax:

love you, Irene
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Irene. Did you know Joe McGasko featured XTC in his Single File this week?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59pm
Irene Trudel:

I did, Ken. It inspired me more. Thanks to all of you tuning in tonight! Catch you next week.
Avatar 12:01am
Bobby Whirlwind:
