Oh! I hope we'll hear more of the Dennis Edwards era of The Temptations today. Fondly remember the era when social consciousness began creeping into Motown hits.

It’s just a ball of confusion! May Alabama-born, Detroit-raised Dennis Edwards Rest In Peace.
Avatar 9:20am Jack:

I saw the Temptations in 1972(?) in Nanuet NY a tiny venue w/ rotating stage sat front row they were maybe 20 feet in front of us! Also saw Ray Charles & Gladys Knight and the Pips at the same place about the same time.

It is good to go mono a mono.
  10:14am tim in the u.p.:

There's an album by Slim Richey called "Jazz Grass," consists of classic jazz played on an ensemble of dobro, banjo, fiddle, upright bass and guitar. All the players are of the Jerry Douglas (who plays dobro on the album) caliber.
Great show today Bob!

Great to hear L.A.'s fantastic Spirit, one of the most under-appreciated '60s bands; I'm always turning others onto their albums.
  10:49am dinatekno:

Thank you for turning me onto that Spirit song! I just downloaded the whole album from iTunes! What a beautiful piece of SoCal music. I had no idea Lou Adler produced that album. Another beautiful musical Saturday morning.
  10:53am Doc Rock:

I saw Spirit on Mar. 22 ‘69 at Fillmore East, on a bill that included Creedence Clearwater Revival
Headlining . They were great.

Bob, I have to check, but I may have a spare copy of the Mary Hopkin LP. The Apple LP, right?
  10:58am Doc Rock:

I saw them again on Oct. 18 ‘69 again At Fillmore East. This time they topped the bill with support from The Kinks & The Bonzo Dog Band!!
