Sad abut Bernie Krause's house and archive. Weird coincidence about him...just the other day I listened to George Harrison's Electronic Sound and then Googled to get info. It turns out Krause accused Harrison of ripping him off...Harrison had recorded Krause without prior permission, and used the material on that record.

I just got 99 albums from Orange Milk label, for 56$. I really like Orange Milk’s taste, and I’m very satisfied.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40am
jj.:

whoa, didn't know about the bernie v. george kerfuffle. will have to look that up! under what circumstances did george record bernie without permission?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41am
jj.:

awesome, scraps! yeah, i love their vibe. definitely one of my most played labels this year.

sally g:

Here's one account from a Rolling Stone article. I read other accounts too, including one on Krause's website:

Krause taught George Harrison how to Moog, and the teaching tapes, Krause said, wound up as one side of Harrison's first and only electronic album. "I said I hoped there'd be royalties or some sort of publishing, and he said 'No, I'll send you a couple of quid.' " They argued there in George's house in London, stoned and hungry ("He was into ecology and not eating meat"), and George, according to Bernie, ended it with a flat: "I'm a Beatle and I'm right; you don't have the humility that Ravi Shankar has."

They certainly got me on the price, too!
Avatar 2:49am

Somehow, I don’t think most anyone is capable of saying “I’m a Beatle and I’m right.” Just me, probably.
  2:50am
sally g:

Yeah, I think we have to take Bernie's account with a huge grain of salt.
