blckdgrd i can't even guess what my most listened to album would be. i shoulda been keeping track.
...all things must pass must be in the top 50 though, which means A LOT; + i regularly play certain songs on the jukebox in the pub.

it's tough - between on the beach, everybody knows this is nowhere & zuma. i like this one best from a lyrics standpoint.

I think my most listened to record is Nisennenmondai's Fan. There's only one track there, so maybe it counts as a single (over 35 minutes though)
Then again it could be Juliana Hatfield's "Become what you are". Less often, but for far longer
Avatar 3:28pm
Cecile:

back in the day it was seen as a minor, inferior album. But then I heard someone covering For The Turnstiles, invested a buck in a copy, and never regretted it.
  3:30pm
cat:

and he made tommy chong the first song after his theme, a place of honor, to celebrate him getting freed from prison after being jailed by the USA for selling bongs. from now on you should write "chong and cheech"

Angels of Light is a side project of the Swans, eh?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm
coelacanth∅:

jeez i can't imagine that. "see the sky about to rain" is the weakest song on the album and it's a decent song. out of 8 tracks 6 are fucking brilliant.

Fabio really enjoying the show!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:16pm
The Oscar:

Funny enough, years ago I went to a double feature of Midnight Cowboy and Annie Hall. The Brattle often runs movies back-to-back-to-back, so you can decide which you want to see first. We wound up ending with Midnight Cowboy, which was great, but a downer as a follow-up to AH. Especially on the bus ride home.

I have permanent back problems from all my years of sitting in theaters. My Cinefamily membership (with those god awful seats) nearly put me in a wheelchair. Can't do it anymore! Besides, the film scene in LA is a little too hot rn for my tastes... prefer an empty theater like any decent misanthropic cinefile
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:20pm

@ thekenschlampen: No, "Jones" was a slang word in the sixties and seventies which referred to addiction -- meaning an addiction or habit.

@J That's so great-- I need to rewatch that. Many years ago they held an all-night marathon of the first season of Twin Peaks. As a surprise, they opened it with a a 35mm screening of Fire Walk With Me, which was awesome, but... disorienting for the TP newbies I brought along!
