Daniel Bacchieri's Street Music Map

Hear this show now: Pop-up listen Pop-up player! | Add or read comments

Daniel Bacchieri is literally connecting the dots between street musicians, fans and budding music-documentarians around the world with his Webby Award-nominated interactive online Street Music Map and its Big Apple offshoot, Street Music Map NYC. Click on the map and you can watch buskers around the world.

The project is also helping street musicians earn more for their work. And collaboration is encouraged: You can contribute your own videos to the map too. There are special events in the works as well - including plans for a 24 hour 22-country live-streaming global street music marathon.

Hi, Rob and paradise-seekers. Nice talking with you at the garbecue the other day, Rob. I didn't mention it at the time, but I liked your bright blue shoes.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:11pm Threemoons:

Ken, what's a garbecue? Is that a garbage BBQ? Garden BBQ? A BBQ where garments are cooked? Funny, I was wearing my blue suede Doc Martens yesterday also.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:12pm Threemoons:
