I had some U.S.P.S. hell with a seemingly lost package due to the clerk at the counter entering the wrong zip code when it was first shipped. 3 weeks of the package bouncing between NYC, Long Island and NJ. Everytime I called that U.S.P.S. number, they always asked that “Would you like to take a…” and my constant answer was “No!”

Call me old fashioned, but I mis the days when I could hit “0” or say “Representative…” to talk to a human being.

Also, those satisfaction surveys are never calculated off of how many people were dealt with, but rather the amount of people who took the survey.

So let’s say you have 100 people in contact with a place for something, and only 10 people respond and 1 of them actually complaints, then the “Satisfaction” percentage is 90%; the other 90 people who didn’t complete the survey don’t count.
