For instance, Cohen, Trump's personal attorney, hand-delivered to Flynn a Russian-developed Ukrainian "peace plan" put together by a legislator under investigation in the Ukraine and Felix Sater, a felon and formerly Russian mafia-backed financier. This didn't happen two years ago--it happened last month! So whether one thinks there's nothing to the story or not, it does seem reasonable that some sort of above-board and independent investigation is required.

Every DJ clues me to things I don't know yet - but Marty's one who spins me things like HipHop trax I probably honestly wouldn't even approach if I saw them in my ignorance. Of such great value. The range - the taste - the party - the message. Appreciation.

And I agree that's something that's always a concern with the often disorganized Democratic Party. However, I find the Russian situation genuinely terrifying if only because of the very real danger an emboldened Putin poses to the entire world, ourselves included. I don't mean I think we're going to have a real-life "Red Dawn" kind of situation, just that Trump's seeming acquiescence to Putin's maneuvers to delegitimize NATO, undermine the EU, prop up Assad and murder regular people in Syria, and straight up seize neighboring territory is ratcheting up the pressure in an already fraught and unstable world. This kind of shit demands careful diplomatic containment, not Trump adopting Putin's arguments (which he has) and serving his interests. I also think this goes hand in glove with the administration's domestic policies. Trump's winking at racism and militarizing immigration "enforcement" directly links with his goal of enriching the already super wealthy, be they Kushner's wealthy Chinese investors, Russian criminal oligarchs, or red-blooded American billionaire maniacs.

It's a 'good issue' - because it makes explicit that Drumpf is not concerned about the USA or GeoPolitix (the whole World) - but only his own ca$h flow. & - he lied nine ways about it - bigly - & - his whole Administration is tied up in it (esp. potentially relevant, because the Republican plan has presumably been to wait out Drumpf's lunacy & install Pence)...& - all the way back to the severely compromised Election (that he never stopped crowing about being 'unfair'...everything is always 'unfair' to him, yerknow, poor underprivileged orange f*ckturd ). So - that's something, I'd say...

Nevertheless, there is also information surfacing re Carter Page, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, et al., suggesting something more than a little untoward is going on, and Putin's regime did hack the DNC. For instance, Cohen, Trump's personal attorney, hand-delivered to Flynn a Russian-developed Ukrainian "peace plan" put together by a legislator under investigation in the Ukraine and Felix Sater, a felon and formerly Russian mafia-backed financier. This didn't happen two years ago--it happened last month! So whether one thinks there's nothing to the story or not, it does seem reasonable that some sort of above-board and independent investigation is required.

And I agree that's something that's always a concern with the often disorganized Democratic Party. However, I find the Russian situation genuinely terrifying if only because of the very real danger an emboldened Putin poses to the entire world, ourselves included. I don't mean I think we're going to have a real-life "Red Dawn" kind of situation, just that Trump's seeming acquiescence to Putin's maneuvers to delegitimize NATO, undermine the EU, prop up Assad and murder regular people in Syria, and straight up seize neighboring territory is ratcheting up the pressure in an already fraught and unstable world. This kind of shit demands careful diplomatic containment, not Trump adopting Putin's arguments (which he has) and serving his interests. I also think this goes hand in glove with the administration's domestic policies. Trump's winking at racism and militarizing immigration "enforcement" directly links with his goal of enriching the already super wealthy, be they Kushner's wealthy Chinese investors, Russian criminal oligarchs, or red-blooded American billionaire maniacs.
