Morning, all.

Brent.:

Now National Health. So, like I was saying. Just great. // Also, you need to spend an afternoon with Bruce at Downtown Music Gallery. He's been an invaluable guide over the years for this stuff and all it's many offshoots.

Hippie Jesus:

Isn't one of the 10 Commandments, "Thy Shall Play No YES In The Ghetto?" Because this sounds a lot like, YES
Avatar 12:15am
Jeff Conklin:

No Yes tonight but Yes is a yes, always
  12:17am
Mario:

Good morning, Jeff and everybuddy!

Was curious to see who of the regulars could hang with the prog/jazz rock
Avatar 12:25am
Jeff Conklin:

@Brent: Unbeliavbly I have yet to visit DMG since they moved to chinatown
Avatar 12:26am
northguineahills:

That's some serious proggy prog!
  12:28am
Hippie Jesus:

I'm loving this jazzy-prog and I look forward to hearing YES on future shows.
  12:29am
Brent.:

I understand. It took me a year to visit after they moved. But once you get your path, you're good to go. And then your wallet is empty. Ha! // Really started enjoying their free Sunday night in-stores last year.

Where's the Canterbury wood elf?
Avatar 12:29am
Jeff Conklin:

@joeray: Right??
  12:38am
Brent.:

Oh, shit. I didn't even KNOW about this one. H/D/T/G. This is getting into Ovary Lodge territory as far as the freak goes. (OK. Not much is as freak as Ovary Lodge, but you can't have Frank Perry on everything.)

Even I've been to DMG since they moved to Chinatown, and I haven't been allowed to by records in 6 years and no longer live in NYC.

Norway-only release strangely enough. Whole thing is great.

Just tuning in...hi all. I vote yes for jazzy prog and proggy jazz. Nice sax on this "Square Enough Fire" track. Kinda reminds me of Traffic. Hmmm, now it's over. Not sure what to make of this S.O.S. bit, but like the sax on it too.
  12:48am
gd0:

Diggin' the S.O.S. ! ! !
  12:49am

Toby Levin on drums ? ? ?

Speaking of T-Lev, got any B.L.U.E. in the vault?

Probably neither good nor bad, but more of a gag that he couldn't remember the name saxophone.

I've somehow managed to not see much of the longest-running show in the history of television, either, but I've always liked it a lot when I've seen it.

Now this sounds like Ghetto. That free jazz was quite a ride. Really dug the prog.
