-i did play a few LC songs on the jukebox tonight at the pub, despite knowing i might be the only one there appreciating it.
...."so long marianne" and "don't go home with your hard on" - trying to appeal to others when i would've rather heard "stranger song". i didn't look around to see any signs of listening.

Now - the guy who was my 'StraightAhead Jazz Mentor' (edumacted me in many things Jazz) told me about one sax player who played real hard - & died of a stroke or something while playing - like he blew himself out legend, kinda thing...& I seem to remember the last name started w/ 'A'...don't suppose you could help me get this straight...
