Do you find that people use the word surreal to explain the most quotidian experiences.

@BiUK: yes to the *surreal* question. Is it that I have been around the block a few times , or is it that folks are necessarily all that observant as they go about their quotidian tasks?
Oh, and thanks for the Escher, got lost in a rabbit hole about tessellation and the Alhambra, which, surreally, I have visted twice.

Bill, bought the Urgent Jumping recently. Great comp.
  1:06pm
rw:

Ha! Makes me think of 8 track tapes when the longer tracks would fade out, click, then fade back in. Also LPs like Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians where one track took up both sides of the album. I guess that's one good thing about digital music. No time limits. (Or is that a bad thing?)
Avatar 1:11pm
Bill Mac:

@rw I have bad memories about my favorite Uriah Heep building up to the tremendous prog climax only to be interrupted by that mechanical move to the next track
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm

I used to play a game with a friend of mine. Name the title given the side and track number of an album. Impossible nowadays, do not even know the track names.
Avatar 1:16pm
