Favoriting September 20, 2016: PAUL HASLINGER (Tangerine Dream)
Paul Haslinger discusses his latest Lakeshore Records release for "Halt and Catch Fire," the AMC TV series currently in its 3rd season depicting the personal computer boom of the early 1980's set in Dallas, Texas aka Silicon Prairie. Paul got his start with Tangerine Dream in the 80's recording 15 albums with the band (including the soundtracks for "Miracle Mile," "Near Dark" and "Three O'Clock High") before scoring on his own for "Crank," "Underworld" and most recently AMC's "Fear The Walking Dead" TV series and the upcoming "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." Paul has also worked with the likes of Jon Hassell, Lustmord, Fennesz, Jason Falkner, Nona Hendryx and Graeme Revelle.

I implore you to check out this Halt and Catch Fire soundtrack from Lakeshore. It really is great. It harkens back to 80's Tangerine Dream soundtrack-era while remaining to sound current and fresh. I wish there was more time to play a lot more of it for you all!! www.lakeshorerecords.com
