The subject matter of this Martha and the Muffins song obviates the need for "Boys of Summer" this week

I read that "that's the truth" story this morning. Read in the same source that the crew did not let the kid actors see the set for the "Pure Imagination" number until they actually shot their entrance, the better to get that look of astonished delight out of them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm
listener james from westwood:

All right, very thankful for being a home-based worker so nobody sees me getting something in both eyes during this song.

@yertle: Infuriatingly, they changed their preference settings so that I had to disable it altogether. My old obsolete computer makes me want to avoid relying on my browser
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm
listener james from westwood:

The '71 "Wonka" performed a vital service. Roald Dahl hated the music so he refused to allow a film to be made of the source book's sequel, "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator." This is very important because, that book? It BLEW. Even as a kid I knew it BLEW. So, thank you Tony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

Excellent news gelatowolf!!! And James, I know the feelin.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm

Fred, Dah's Oompa-Loompa songs were way better that Bricuse's, I gotta say. The Dahl originals, and Danny Elfman's settings of them, provided the only real reason to see the Burton remake, IMO.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm

Brushing your turtle with a toothbrush is probably a good idea, but don't try it on your goldfish.
