Heh...one of the flying saucer clips was part of Rex's closing theme on Saturdays.

Guido from Cologne:

Sound engineers back then had to be able to read scores/notes, so basicly they had to be musicians. Anyway as far as Germany is concerned.

Both, Louis & Bebe had studied music:

Cooh John:

Good morning all. How am I to function without music of mind control!?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17am
micah:

the arcane device is your guide into the mystical realm of noise and nonsense today john

melinda:

Anxiety has woken me up earlier than usual. Morning!
Avatar 7:23am
annie:

each morning, i log into my RSS feeder and read the "news", news from all over the media-plain. some headlines and reports are so idiotic, and some are downright scary. all i want to do is shout to the invisible person next to me or even comment in here on the comments. Bayer wants to buy Monsanto! oy vey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24am
micah:

annie its the end of everything human. thats all you need to know, and then everything starts to make sense
  7:25am
Cooh John:

Thanks, micah. Good as any.
Avatar 7:26am
annie:

yep, 'tis true!! watching the implosion in real time is fascinating, the slow-motion decline of our species is visible and very real.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28am
micah:

yes who knew we would be born during this time to witness it. perhaps we have all been here before and we have been summoned back for that particular reason. i dont normally believe in reincarnation but now it makes sense
Avatar 7:30am
annie:

i'm a firm believer in reincarnation and the Karma effect. for every action there is a reaction, either subconsciously or in real time. these brains and senses that were given us are WAY under-utilized
  7:31am
Cooh John:

Yes, annie. I am looking forward to going off-planet. It will be a relief.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33am
micah:

i feel that the reincarnation/karma doctrine is a little too logical and formulaic for me. i am more of a chaos majician . its hard for me to get my head around an existential system
Avatar 7:33am
annie:

i really feel the same way. i like to think my next incarnation will be in a celestial way. how much should we endure before we are gifted with the higher plane? Earth existence is the bardo!
  7:35am
melinda:

Enjoying arcane device.
  7:36am
Cooh John:

Science tells us energy cannot be destroyed. It can only be transformed. Are we not energy?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36am
micah:

i think when we die we are reincarnated as atomic matter. thats why there is so mauch of it
Avatar 7:36am
annie:

we are indeed, cooh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37am
micah:

the more people die , the more the universe is created
Avatar 7:37am
annie:

pondering on that micah. it is a great concept.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38am
micah:

entropy is the one thing all matter has in common. nothing is ever destroyed. everything is in a process of emergence, except for some inert gasses. because they are Farts of God
Avatar 7:45am
annie:

well, fwiw, i've always believed that everything is electricity no matter how stagnant they may seem, even our "man-made" objects would not hold form if there was no energy to bind them. when i was young i thought that with a simple concentrated effort, i could divide anything in half just by forcing the atoms to split as i passed my hand through it. where and how i acquired this knowledge is betond me, but i thank the cosmos i was allowed to know this at an early age. my science teachers went crazy with my off-the-wall questions.

That's bad news about Apple. If the $$ isn't in macs, what will they be pushing instead?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:20am
micah:

probably a more turbo amped version of the ipad
  8:21am
melinda:

Nuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24am
micah:

they go where the trends develop. right now normal computing is develping toward augmented reality, wearable platforms and haptic interface. so it will be an all in one package. no more sitting at a desk fiddling about w microsoft office or whatever
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Huh...It's National Bike to Work Day today. If I had known that sooner, I could've planned to ride in today. Will try to remember this for next year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am
