A piercing, slicing, crushing odyssey through raw emotions, harsh noise, grinding blasts, hardcore punk, and unsettling thoughts. It's like if DS9 was more like Event Horizon, but as a radio show.

Hahaha! "a DISGUSTING record collector"!

I agree with this neo-retro orthodoxy. I mean all these bands going on reunion tours and playing a full album in concert? What is that about? So boring.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
Marcel M:

Its often boring. But MBV was awesome and Sleep is better than ever. JMC was sick recently too I gotta say. Just a few examples where I was really happy. But of course many reunion shows suck.

PERSONATOR:

I would love to hear exactly what types of hardware they use in their live performance not exactly the name brand but oscillators filters etc.

Bosh:

PERSONATOR, funny you should mention that...

JakeGould:

@MarcelM: Well, the product might be awesome in some cases but in general the best description I have heard of this modern kind of nostalgia is like it’s all “fan fiction.” Meaning bands, artists and even film makers are just pandering directly to the audience and just giving them exactly what I want.

In contrast when I went to see My Bloody Valentine in the 1990s I had no idea what I would get and suddenly… Wow.

Hey, will the interview be available for free download on FMA any time? I see the set was put up but I have hardly ever heard Philip Best's voice in conversation before as there is hardly any audible interviews with him online. Well worth archiving please!
