I always loved the way the synths sound in "Fox on the Run". And this was years before Devo or The Cars. I don't know if it was before Kraftwerk's Autobahn though. I think a number songs by The Cars got synth ideas from Sweet.

"Apache" is one of those tunes many of the 60s-era English guitar greats say was one of the first, if not the very first, songs they learned on guitar. I think Hank Marvin of the Shadows made a big impression when he played it on that side of the pond.
