Hi Gary,

This opening number is very mellow.....I like it....just what I need today. Package to you finally in the mail today.

Hi, Mom! You're actually listening to the stream itself right now -- it's basically what's on Doug's computer. I won't get started for another 25 minutes or so!

Jill B.:

Well, I jumped the gun! This is the program that proceeds you!!!!! My, oh,my, I am aging rapidly!

Hey Gary - great show last week. I was in airplane mode at the time, so I had to listen to it in the archives. Looking forward to tonight's offerings.

Tim! I have got to have you on the show. IF you can't come out to NYC, maybe we can talk about doing something via Skype or Google Hangouts ...

Good evening, Gary and all! I too was listening from early on. (And it is the autumnal equinox.)
  7:04pm
Jill B.:

It's the equinox. Summer Solstice.
  7:06pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Yes Gary - Autumnal Equinox.
Equinox =s 'Equal Night' ; one of two days a year day & night are equal length. The other is 1st day of Spring (opposite now in the year).
Then there are the Solstices - =s 'Sun stands still' - which begin Summer & Winter - the longest (Summer) & shortest (Winter, right before Xmas) daylight of the year. & these are your season-starting days, the 'four corners' of the wheel of the year, if you will...

...so, today day & night are equal length, & night will get longer until just before Xmas...Northern Hemisphere, that is!

I saw True Grit in the theater when it came out and the had nightmares for weeks after. It was the woman falling in the snakepit scene that was the culprit. I plan to sleep like a baby after THIS show, however. Hello Gary! Hello everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm
Gary:

Doug! I saw that movie in the theater when it came out, too, and don't remember much about it, other than John Wayne's face. Oh, and while I have you here: THANK YOU for turning me on to this Darso album!
