I yam disgustipated! Dodgers beating Giants 10-1, and worse, it's on ESPN. I seek asylum in the world of echo.

Give me your tired, your poor.

What about hot, sweaty, dealing with paint fumes and just ate dinner but and almost through “Trial of Billy Jack” which is a terrible, terrible movie? Are people like that welcome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:39pm

This sounds so '70s!

Now THIS is some 70's flashback sounds

All we need now is some Brand X for a trifecta.
  10:44pm
Carmichael:

Happy Father's Day, as applicable.
Avatar 10:45pm
Dave Mandl:

@pss: I was thinking of Brand X, but this is probably enough fusion for tonight.
Avatar 10:45pm
Dave Mandl:

@Carmichael: Thanks, and ditto to all the dads out there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46pm
pacific standard simon:

Did your kid make you breakfast in bed this morning, Dave?
Avatar 10:47pm
Dave Mandl:

@pss: You've gotta be kidding. But I got taken out for a nice lunch.
  10:48pm
P-90:

Brand X (immediately post-Phil Collins) at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip: one of my rop ten 70's shows. really tight, really tasty, long, long set.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51pm
pacific standard simon:

Close enough! And cooking isn't for everybody.
  10:51pm
P-90:

Maybe she'll read this and you'll get breakfast in bed next year.
If you could have anything, what would the menu be?
  10:57pm
listening out there:

No "E," please... :)

Went looking for unusual versions of Debussy's "Clair de Lune" -- found one by tenor saxophonist Kamasi Washington. Haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but it seems promising.
Avatar 10:59pm
Dave Mandl:

@P-90: Good question. I've got simple tastes. For breakfast, some kind of exotic omelette would be nice. Huevos rancheros. Granola. Pretty much anything.
Avatar 11:00pm
Dave Mandl:

@pss: Sounds cool.

Ken From Hyde Park:

Daughter & I made pancakes on Saturday morning. Kids & I had nice lunch at the local restaurant today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm
pacific standard simon:

Dave, I forget if you're one of the surprisingly large group of FMU vegetarians, but if not, a smoked salmon, sour cream and caper omelette is the way to go. So tasty.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05pm
Asheville Jon:

Really enjoying the show tonight.
Avatar 11:06pm
Dave Mandl:

@pss: Yes, I am one of the veggies. Sorry.
Avatar 11:06pm

Asheville Jon:

Hey there Dave. You're welcome!
  11:10pm
P-90:

An app! Ha! Can't go wrong with huevos rancheros and granola, good choices. Eggs Benedict is good too but I've seen what the kitchen looks like after kids have made that for one of the folks in bed...
  11:10pm
JakeGould:

How about TaskRabbit a breakfast?
  11:11pm
cheri:

I forgot to say that "the world of echo" makes me glad to be alive, dave!
  11:12pm
Carmichael:

I got an omelettey mixey bready thing. It was fun. My kids are headed to college.

cheri:

also I hope you had a great fathers day dave.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm

Ah, well, no need to be sorry -- their are plenty of fantastic veg dishes. A Spanish omelette, say... en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16pm
pacific standard simon:

There ARE recipe apps. You mean one that does the cooking, too?
  11:17pm
P-90:

Let's put Kenzo on that one

@pss: Yeah, one that actually makes me breakfast.

Au Revoir Pee Wee!
  11:47pm
rw:

Hello!

I want to see Brand X in the '70s and my daughter made me a smoothie for breakfast today.
  11:50pm
Carmichael:

RT!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm
pacific standard simon:

@Dave - When you say "one that actually makes me breakfast", I imagine a scene out of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", with your daughter frantically trying to reign in a smart phone that is demolishing the kitchen while making far more breakfast than you could ever eat.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53pm
Layet Johnson:

That Au Revoir Simone was great. What's their deal?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm
pacific standard simon:

Huh. Hot on the heals of his protege Ornette Coleman.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm
Layet Johnson:

Dave, great show, thanks a lot
Avatar 11:57pm

and Happy Father's Day
  11:59pm

Thanks Dah-veed.
