Hey folks. I was cleaning my kitchen. You know, those commercials where they talk about kitchens and grease? There might be something to that.
Avatar 3:30am
Ryab:

The only commercials I watch are the clips on /r/wheredidthesodago
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37am
coelacanth:

i quite like talking about music. for hours. i do that most saturdays &/or sundays...but not about genres, except to dis the application of genres.
  3:38am
JakeGould:

@Ryab: You might be entertained, but I bet your kitchen is a grease trap ready to blow up at any moment. Just saying.
Avatar 3:39am
Ryab:

Might be. I hope the Dust Bros play somewhere when it blows.

Sabado Gigante is going off the air, Ryab so hey… One less choice.

Hey JH! I'm out of here in a second but wanted to help keep you awake before I go... uh... not sure what would keep you awake...

I never watched more than maybe 30 min. total of Sabado Gigante in my life, but I'm going to miss it.
Avatar 4:01am
Ryab:

I watched that movie about 3 weeks ago.
  4:05am
JakeGould:

The new Star Wars looks cool… But one nerdy thing has irritated me… Why do the TIE fighters look like the first Star Wars film TIE fighters but with mirrored windows? Why not TIE interceptors with the bent wings and pointy stuff on the front?
Avatar 4:08am
Jherweg:

Yes I agree. Not digging the look of the new storm troopers either.
  4:12am
JakeGould:

@Jherweg: The new Stormtroopers look too curved. Like Johnathan Ive designed them. But am looking forward to wrecked Star Destroyers… And then I thought, “If that is not Tattooine there had better be a good reason why Jawas didn’t scrap that hulk to bits right away.” One MAJOR plus is the spoiler I heard of there being a Stormtrooper massacre of civilians. I am not into death in movies, but other than Alderaan being blown up, you never saw the real casual brutality of the bad guys in the Star Wars films. Do it like every Vietnam film… Show lines of refugees and then random massacres in pits. Cold blooded but make people hate these guys for a real reason.

Han Solo has aged obviously but chewbaka doesn't have a single grey hair.

Cosmic Wars
  4:16am
JakeGould:

@Bazinge: That said, Luke with R2-D2 in the dark near a fire? Okay, that seems cool. And if that lightsaber is passed onto a woman? Very cool.
Avatar 4:20am
Bazinge:

The opening sequence of the trailer uses the same trick as in the original film where you see a big spaceship..no a very big spaceship..no a really really really big spaceship.
  4:21am
JakeGould:

@Bazinge: If that is the way they present the traditional “Star Destroyer at the opening of a film shot” then that is good.
