@Cecile: oh, it doesn't concern them. They just blame others for infractions they're guilty of themselves. US-born Obama is supposedly not allowed to run for President, but foreign-born Cruz and Mittens are A-OK. There should be voter ID laws because blacks, latinos and other Dems are clearly crooks, while GOP politicos keep getting caught voting several times at the same election.

If you're ever coaching children's football in a draft league, and you get to the late rounds & there's a girl, if you know nothing else, draft her. They tend to be underestimated. We drafted one in 2010 & were not disappointed.

I taught Angelina & a couple other players how to cut block. About 15 min. later the head coach calls her into a scrimmage-type drill, and on the 1st snap she puts our star athlete, son of the head football coach at SUNY Maritime, on his face. They both came up giggling, but it earned me a lot of respect.
  6:41pm
JakeGould:

@tomasz.: In hipster Brooklyn, nobody would play cricket but instead embrace kickball, shuffle-board and bocce ball. It’s got to be weirder, and not a deep commitment yet quirky. Bowling teeters on that edge, but is too formal for some.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm
Caryn:

@Robert: they used to. in the late 80s or 90s. It is oddly enjoyable to watch. I think part of the enjoyment comes from thinking, "this seems simple and fun, I might like to do this myself!" Nowadays, I mostly watch female kabaddi if I can catch it somewhere.
